Department of Commerce organized Alumni Meet
PG Department of Commerce, Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala organized an Alumni Meet on 23rd February, 2020 under the guidance of Principal Dr. Khushvinder Kumar. The function began with Saraswati Vandana and Shabad Gayan, followed by a formal welcome of Alumni by Prof. Neena Sareen, Dean, Commerce. Principal Dr. Khushvinder Kumar apprised the Alumni about the growth Multani Mal Modi College has made over the years and welcomed their suggestions for the continuous development of the institution. I former faculty members, Prof. Nirmal Singh and Prof. Sharwan Kumar; and Vice-President of College Alumni Association Dr. B. B. Singla; were honoured by the Principal, Dean Commerce and other faculty members. After this, the stage was conducted by Dr. B. B. Singla, who further proceeded with the Alumni interaction. The felicitation ceremony of the Alumni was held. A few cultural items were presented by Prof. Habib. Around 100 Alumni of the department attended the function. Stage was conducted by Dr. Deepika Singla and vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Parminder Kaur.

ਕਾਮਰਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਲੂਮਨੀ ਮੀਟ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ
ਸਥਾਨਕ ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮੱਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਪੋਸਟ ਗ੍ਰੈਜੂਏਟ ਕਮਰਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਖੁਸ਼ਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਸੁਯੋਗ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਮਿਤੀ 23 ਫਰਵਰੀ 2020 ਨੂੰ ਅਲੂਮਨੀ ਮੀਟ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਸਰਸਵਤੀ ਵੰਦਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਗਾਇਨ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਈ। ਇਸ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਨੀਨਾ ਸਰੀਨ, ਡੀਨ, ਕਮਰਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ ਆਏ ਹੋਏ ਮਹਿਮਾਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਰਸਮੀ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਖੁਸ਼ਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ ਬੀਤੇ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮੱਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਉਪਲਬਧੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਸ਼ਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦੇ ਅਗਾਂਊ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ ਆਏ ਹੋਏ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ, ਡੀਨ, ਕਮਰਸ ਅਤੇ ਫੈਕਲਟੀ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਜੂਦਗੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਰਹਿ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਨਿਰਮਲ ਸਿੰਘ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਸ਼ਰਵਨ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਅਲੂਮਨੀ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਉਪ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਡਾ. ਬੀ.ਬੀ.ਸਿੰਗਲਾ ਦਾ ਸਨਮਾਣ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਡਾ. ਬੀ.ਬੀ. ਸਿੰਗਲਾ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਮੰਚ ਸੰਚਾਲਣ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਏ ਹੋਏ ਮਹਿਮਾਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਵਟਾਂਦਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਕਾਮਰਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਅਲੂਮਨੀਜ਼ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਹਬੀਬ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ। ਕਾਮਰਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਸੌ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਅਲੂਮਨੀਜ਼ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ। ਮੰਚ ਸੰਚਾਲਣ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਜ ਡਾ. ਦੀਪਿਕਾ ਸਿੰਗਲਾ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਬਾਖੂਬੀ ਨਿਭਾਗਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਦਾ ਮਤਾ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਪਰਮਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
